Job Overview

The **Senior Technical Support Specialist** position is crucial for delivering high-quality assistance and maintenance within the desktop computing framework of the organization. This role encompasses the installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of desktop devices, printers, software solutions, and mobile technology to guarantee peak performance. Support is provided directly for on-site personnel or via telephone/remote access for off-site users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the seamless daily functioning of technology applications and devices by diagnosing, identifying, and rectifying technical issues.
  • Deliver deskside support and impart knowledge to end users regarding various computer-related challenges.
  • Provide level II support with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Address technical problems and determine when to escalate matters to management.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for tracking issues and ensure timely resolution of all support tickets.
  • Collaborate with diverse IT teams to restore services and pinpoint underlying issues.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and documentation.
  • Advise on technology and process enhancements to reduce user-related issues.
  • Engage in significant technology projects and assignments.
  • Serve as a technical authority across various team initiatives.
  • Provide support for technology refresh initiatives as required.
  • Execute scheduled moves, installations, cancellations, and other related tasks.
  • Potentially oversee other team members.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are vital.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Must be capable of working independently, self-driven, and possess outstanding communication abilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support within a corporate setting.
  • Proficient with Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
Work Environment:

This role involves working indoors in an office environment, with occasional lifting of equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
