Sales Administration Role at Chalmers Ford Inc

The Sales Administration Specialist at Chalmers Ford Inc plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the details of vehicle transactions prior to their submission to the finance department. We are looking for a motivated and professional individual who possesses a strong drive for excellence. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills to succeed in our collaborative environment.

  • Work Schedule: Four weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with one weekday off, and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general accounting functions
  • Manage incoming calls, take messages, and deliver customer service
  • Process documentation for both new and pre-owned vehicles
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure precise record-keeping
  • Identify and resolve issues related to vehicle transactions
  • Occasionally fulfill receptionist duties
  • Administer the sales queue and manage key control

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in an automotive dealership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds Power is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and adhere to deadlines
  • Self-motivated with strong multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work retail hours
