The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at TAP Sports Bar. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and presentation. Your exceptional leadership skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct training sessions for kitchen staff on job responsibilities and best practices.
  • Oversee the processing of requisitions and ensure that all products are properly labeled and dated.
  • Develop and execute recipes to meet our culinary standards.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and ensure that all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
  • Monitor food quality and take corrective action to address any irregularities.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen inventory, purchasing, and receiving.
  • Prepare and administer kitchen schedules, payroll, training, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
