Position Overview

The Head of Talent and Culture is accountable for the comprehensive management of Talent & Culture at AccorHotels, focusing on recruitment, training, compensation, and employee engagement to align with the hotel’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate organizational needs and devise tailored Talent & Culture solutions. Implement strategies in Human Resources Administration, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Welfare, Safety and Health, Employee Communication, Industrial Relations, Training and Development, Performance Management, and Career Development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.

Develop and present plans for current and future staffing needs to ensure optimal workforce alignment with business projections.

Engage with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and governmental organizations to source talent effectively.

Assess and select potential candidates, formulating competitive compensation structures to attract and retain top talent.

Identify and prioritize training and development needs, ensuring that staff promotions and career advancements are reviewed and approved by senior management.

Represent the hotel in negotiations with labor organizations and oversee employee engagement initiatives, including events and recognition programs.

Manage internal communications, ensuring effective dissemination of information through newsletters and other publications.

Provide internal consulting on grievance and disciplinary matters, assisting in departmental goal setting and maintaining confidentiality.

Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes open communication, trust, and mutual respect.

Support departmental leaders in developing action plans based on colleague feedback.

Oversee the annual HR budget, balancing operational and employee needs.

Demonstrate effective communication skills in English and French, with proficiency in the local language where applicable.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Human Resources from a recognized institution.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing Human Resources within the luxury hotel or hospitality sector, with a solid understanding of local labor laws and practices.
