Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting and Coaching: Plan, organize, and execute recruiting efforts to attract top talent to the program. Develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance the performance of student-athletes.
  • Program Administration: Oversee the daily operations of the wrestling program, including scheduling, budget management, and equipment inventory.
  • Team Management: Build and maintain a strong team culture, fostering growth and development of student-athletes both on and off the mat.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for the wrestling program, communicating effectively with athletes, staff, and stakeholders. Collaborate with the strength and conditioning staff to develop a comprehensive training program.
  • Compliance and Eligibility: Ensure compliance with NCAA regulations and monitor the eligibility of student-athletes in the program.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience coaching Men's Wrestling at the college level
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching and leadership, with a commitment to the highest ideals of sportsmanship and academics
  • Ability to coach and recruit highly skilled student-athletes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, students, and stakeholders
