We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. Key Responsibilities- Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and residents, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Employee Management: Supervise and develop a team of on-site staff, including leasing managers, maintenance technicians, and administrative assistants.
- Leasing and Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels, oversee leasing activities, and ensure compliance with fair housing laws.
- Revenue Management: Manage rent collections, delinquency, and vendor invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate accounting.
- Reporting and Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files, reports, and documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
- Accreditation: Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
- Leadership: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree in a relatable field preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English; strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
