Position Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with executing the Compliance Audit Plan while mentoring and developing team members. You will collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and oversee the planning of audit activities, creating audit programs based on assessed risks, management discussions, and industry trends.
  • Determine work priorities, schedule assignments, and supervise the audit team's performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Review audit documentation prepared by team members to ensure completeness and appropriateness of findings and recommendations.
  • Facilitate the development of team members through training coordination and constructive feedback.
  • Plan and manage the work that external auditors depend on for year-end audits and reporting.
  • Assist in setting annual department objectives and preparing the annual audit plan, including risk assessments and resource allocation.

Qualifications:
This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards.
  • Familiarity with Compliance regulations and banking operations.
  • Progress towards or completion of CPA, CIA, CISA, CRCM, CAMS, CFIRS, or other relevant certifications.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in planning and managing work assignments effectively.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with a lifting requirement of up to 20 lbs.
