Job Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To guarantee that all cashiers and front-end personnel create an enjoyable, informative, efficient, and thrilling environment for our patrons.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that all cashier staff execute their responsibilities safely, effectively, enthusiastically, and professionally.
  • Verify that the daily restroom inspection log is filled out by all team members.
  • Collaborate with Assistant and General Managers on disciplinary and operational matters.
  • Prepare the front desk and café ahead of opening hours.
  • Guide new customers through race package selections, pricing, and overall process.
  • Maintain a smooth and rapid flow of service while delivering exceptional customer care.
  • Oversee ongoing transactions at both the café and front counter while upholding policies and procedures.
  • Address emergency situations as they occur.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the front desk, lobby, and café areas.
  • Perform or assign specific cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed by management.
  • Check and ensure that closing tasks are completed to secure the front desk and café, preparing for the next operational day.
  • Guarantee that discount, coupon, and gift card protocols are current and adhered to.
  • Conduct and supervise the training of new employees.
  • Assist in overseeing, maintaining, and organizing the retail and concessions sections.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED); or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

REASONING SKILLS:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Capable of addressing issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Competence in effectively communicating before groups of customers and addressing inquiries.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition and subtraction with two-digit numbers.
