Job Summary:

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our Commercial Credit Risk and Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Resilience and Limits Framework, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information on portfolio credit quality, and driving conversations with Commercial Senior Management stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands.
  • Lead the development of the Resilience and Limits Framework, incorporating quantitative and qualitative information on portfolio credit quality.
  • Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.
  • Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute against the product strategy.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Capital One Commercial Banking to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in analysis, with a strong background in credit risk management.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field, 5+ years of experience in analysis, and 2+ years of experience in people management.
