Position Overview:
As a seasoned acquisition management expert, you understand the critical nature of both sides of the acquisition and contract lifecycle, which are essential to fulfilling client missions. We are seeking an individual to act as a vital link to government entities. Your enthusiasm for supporting federal contracts before and after awards will enhance processes that are crucial to national defense.

Your Role:
In your capacity as a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you will collaborate closely with our defense clients to support the warfighter. Your contributions will aid in the acquisition and program management necessary for optimal operational strength, ensuring alignment with their mission objectives. This role presents an opportunity to influence the defense acquisition and contracting processes in our country.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with program leadership to assess contracts, manage project cost accounting, and engage in tactical planning utilizing tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and MS Project.
• Maintain regular communication with government clients and project Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across a diverse Department of Defense (DoD) organization.
• Draft comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, including Acquisition and Execution Strategies, requirements documentation, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Rights in Data, while identifying integration points across the broader client portfolio.
• Complete procurement request packages and ensure the secure storage and handling of sensitive documents.
• Provide acquisition expertise on all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that impact project success.

Qualifications:
• Over 8 years of experience with DoD agencies or organizations.
• More than 7 years of experience in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), Global Positioning System (GPS), sustainment logistics, and sustainment acquisition.
• Proven experience in government Strategy Development, Acquisitions, and Contracting.
• Background in Program Management and Project Management.
• Familiarity with USAF and USSF financial processes, policies, and execution methodologies.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
• Capability to support and communicate effectively with senior government leaders, providing strategic recommendations.
• Possession of a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Work Environment:
