Position Overview:
As a seasoned acquisition management professional, you understand the critical nature of both the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in supporting mission objectives. We are seeking an individual to act as a vital link to government entities, leveraging your enthusiasm to enhance pre- and post-award federal contracts while streamlining processes essential to national defense.

Your Role:
In your capacity as a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate closely with defense clients to support the warfighter, facilitating the acquisition and program management necessary for optimal operational readiness. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the defense acquisition and contract processes, working alongside program leadership to evaluate contracts, manage project costs, and engage in tactical planning utilizing tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and MS Project. Regular interactions with government clients and subject matter experts across a diverse Department of Defense organization will be integral to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
Effective project management hinges on robust communication to ensure program objectives are met while adhering to quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting comprehensive RFP packages, encompassing Acquisition and Execution Strategies, requirements documentation, CDRLs, and Rights in Data.
  • Identifying integration points across the broader client portfolio.
  • Completing procurement request packages and ensuring the secure handling of sensitive documents.
  • Providing acquisition expertise on all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that influence project success.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to secure necessary approvals.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 8+ years of experience with Department of Defense agencies or organizations.
  • 7+ years of experience in PNT, GPS, sustainment logistics, and sustainment acquisition.
  • Experience in government Strategy Development, Acquisitions, and Contracting.
  • Proficiency in Program Management and Project Management.
  • Knowledge of USAF and USSF financial processes, policies, and execution protocols.
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
  • Ability to directly support and communicate with senior government leaders, providing strategic insights.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
