Position Overview:
As a seasoned acquisition management expert, you understand the critical nature of both the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in fulfilling your clients' objectives. We are seeking a dedicated professional to act as a liaison to government entities. Your enthusiasm for supporting federal contracts before and after awards will be key in enhancing processes that contribute to national defense.

Your Role:
In your capacity as a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate closely with our defense sector clients to support the warfighter. Your responsibilities will include managing the acquisition and program management needs essential for achieving optimal operational readiness, ensuring alignment with our mission.

Impact:
This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the defense acquisition and contracting landscape. You will engage with program leadership to evaluate contracts, oversee project cost accounting, and facilitate tactical planning utilizing tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and MS Project. Regular interactions with government clients and subject matter experts across a diverse Department of Defense organization will be integral to your work.

Communication:
The effectiveness of project management hinges on robust communication to ensure program objectives are met and quality standards are upheld. On our team, you will be responsible for drafting comprehensive RFP packages, which include Acquisition and Execution Strategies, requirements documentation, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Rights in Data, while identifying integration points across the broader client portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare procurement request packages and ensure the secure handling of sensitive documents.
- Provide acquisition expertise regarding all relevant statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that impact project success.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and support.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Department of Defense agencies or organizations.
- 7+ years of experience in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), GPS, sustainment logistics, and acquisition.
- Proven experience in government Strategy Development, Acquisitions, and Contracting.
- Background in Program Management and Project Management.
- Familiarity with USAF and USSF financial processes, policies, and execution.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
- Ability to engage with and provide strategic recommendations to senior government leaders.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirement:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
