Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing program schedules and costs, allocating resources, managing meetings and briefings, and determining program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess program schedules and costs: The Acquisition Program Manager will be responsible for assessing program schedules and costs to ensure they are within budget and on track.
  • Allocate resources: The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources based on program requirements.
  • Manage meetings and briefings: The Acquisition Program Manager will be responsible for managing meetings and briefings, including providing briefings of program status to senior management.
  • Determine program requirements: The successful candidate will be responsible for determining program requirements, developing goals and objectives, and gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs.
  • Monitor and mentor: The Acquisition Program Manager will be responsible for monitoring and mentoring lower-level Acquisition Support Specialists and other contractor support personnel.

Requirements:

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Years of Experience: 12 years of experience with DoD acquisition programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management or Engineering & Technical Management
  • Master's degree in Business or related field
  • 10 years of experience with DoD acquisition programs
