Job Overview

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Account Manager for Grow Op Farms. This role serves as the primary contact for our clients, facilitating communication between the customer and the organization. The Sales Account Manager will assist in vendor events and education, identify market gaps, and seize sales opportunities to enhance our growth in the cannabis sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for accounts, addressing any inquiries or concerns that arise.
  • Conduct weekly sales check-ins with clients.
  • Perform regular store visits within the designated territory to foster relationships.
  • Organize quarterly business evaluations with major accounts.
  • Calculate and communicate discounts for special promotions or outdated inventory.
  • Report any product or documentation issues to management.
  • Inform clients about new product launches and promotional offers.
  • Provide recommendations for product placements to optimize account performance.
  • Coordinate Vendor Day events with relevant personnel.
  • Monitor and analyze real-time inventory data using various tools.
  • Submit weekly order proposals for vendor approval based on inventory trends.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned, including participation in Research and Development initiatives.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior experience in Business-to-Business sales is highly desirable.
  • Experience in cannabis sales is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel statewide for vendor events as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Proficiency in computer usage is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity to distinguish colors and see clearly at a distance.
