Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee environmental initiatives and site evaluations for extensive redevelopment projects.
  • Lead and manage tasks that include research, data gathering, field investigations, estimating, GIS applications, calculations, and project documentation to assist Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs) on regulatory projects.
  • Thoroughly document theories, methodologies, and justifications for clarity and future reference.
  • Conduct records research, data analysis, drilling supervision, and media sampling & analysis, culminating in the preparation of technical reports.
  • Implement technical principles in project tasks adhering to client-required procedures and standards.
  • Perform self-quality assurance and corrections before internal peer evaluations.
  • Collaborate with senior personnel and mentors on diverse assignments of varying complexity.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to foster effective communication.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to junior staff, potentially supervising their project contributions.
  • Engage in conferences and workshops for ongoing education and professional growth.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of experience in executing environmental assessments and remedial actions.
  • Proficient in collecting field data and measurements, including inspections of roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets.
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively within a team setting.
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
  • Ability to maintain prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
