About the Role
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion within the assigned sales territory. This role will focus on developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory-specific growth plan to meet or exceed sales revenue targets.
- Secure new client appointments through targeted telemarketing, cold calling, and other selling strategies.
- Update sales software database daily/weekly as advised by Sales Management.
- Prepare for client appointments by conducting thorough research, tailoring sales materials, and utilizing available resources.
- Meet with prospective clients to secure their business and implement follow-up client meetings to complete the sales process.
- Collaborate with client partners to meet client timelines and deliverables for installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3+ years of business-to-business, outside sales experience focused on new account generation.
- Proven success in developing new business and generating sales leads within an assigned sales territory.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- A valid driver's license.
