Job Description

About the Role

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion within the assigned sales territory. This role will focus on developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory-specific growth plan to meet or exceed sales revenue targets.
  • Secure new client appointments through targeted telemarketing, cold calling, and other selling strategies.
  • Update sales software database daily/weekly as advised by Sales Management.
  • Prepare for client appointments by conducting thorough research, tailoring sales materials, and utilizing available resources.
  • Meet with prospective clients to secure their business and implement follow-up client meetings to complete the sales process.
  • Collaborate with client partners to meet client timelines and deliverables for installation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3+ years of business-to-business, outside sales experience focused on new account generation.
  • Proven success in developing new business and generating sales leads within an assigned sales territory.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • A valid driver's license.
