JOB FUNCTION: The OEM Client Support Specialist will engage with clients to deliver information in response to inquiries and effectively address customer issues.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for OEM clients via phone or email, assess requests, provide the necessary information, or identify the appropriate resources to assist and serve as the liaison to gather information across departments.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with OEM clients to comprehend their requirements and preferences.
  • Prepare quotations, distribute catalogs and samples, process orders, and reach out to clients to collect information pertinent to orders or quotations.
  • Evaluate transactions, rectify discrepancies, and generate return authorizations.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the product line, delivery timelines, and the ability to interpret detailed manufacturer specifications.
  • Track and report on essential account metrics such as sales projections, order statuses, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with other regional sales offices to fulfill client orders efficiently.
  • Collect and submit documentation as required by clients.
  • Work alongside the Regional Sales Manager to ensure that pricing strategies align with quotations.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Customer Service role.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or account management, ideally within an OEM or manufacturing context.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
