Role Responsibilities
As a Nurse Extern, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collecting and documenting patient information throughout their care journey.
- Assisting with patient mobility and ensuring comfort through regular repositioning and transfers.
- Communicating complex medical information in an understandable manner to patients and their families.
- Educating patients and caregivers on health management, dietary needs, and lifestyle modifications for discharge.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good academic standing.
- Completion of at least one year of nursing school is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
