Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team as a PRN (as needed) position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients with various needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing nurse procedures to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs, and manage equipment safely and appropriately.
- Prepare exam and treatment supplies, and assist with medical procedures.
- Manage medical records and communicate effectively with the Nurse Navigator to ensure patient safety.
- Seek assistance as needed and develop and maintain human care relationships.
- Adapt care delivery for diverse populations and environments, and provide care in an ethical and legal manner.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- Experience in an MD office or similar setting.
- Computer literacy and ability to manage electronic medical records.
- Preferred: Six months' experience as an RN in Oncology and phlebotomy skills.
