Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing nurse procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients, including nurse assessments, medical histories, and lab and diagnostic requests.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Manage medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Apply critical thinking skills to resolve complex patient care issues and make informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of empathy and compassion.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in oncology nursing, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Licensure by State of NH as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- Current AHA or ARC BCLS.
- Experience in an MD office.
- Computer literate.
- Within 90 days of hire, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
- Preferred: Six months' experience as an RN in Oncology.
- Phlebotomy skills preferred but will train after hire.
