As a full-time, nonexempt Pharmacy Support Specialist at Forest View Hospital, you will play a vital role in assisting with various pharmacy operations under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications, as well as maintaining patient records and managing the setup, packaging, and labeling of medication doses.

Your work will be conducted with minimal supervision, adhering to pharmacy standards, established procedures, and state regulatory requirements. You will be accountable for the precise execution of daily tasks and ensuring their completion.


Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 30 or more hours per week, with a flexible weekday schedule and every other weekend.

Forest View Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited facility that has been a leader in providing Behavioral Health Care Services for over 35 years. We offer tailored treatment for a wide range of psychiatric disorders in a private setting.

CPS Solutions, LLC collaborates with the hospital to oversee the daily operations of this pharmacy, and this position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Certified pharmacy technician with Michigan licensure
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician (hospital experience preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in computer skills, including experience with

Hospital Requirements:
(may be required)(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
