Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist, your duties will include:

- Assisting pharmacists with their responsibilities while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive environment for both customers and employees.
- Supporting health and wellness initiatives within the company.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Compounding medications in accordance with state regulations.
- Conducting post-fill audits to ensure accuracy in prescription information.
- Engaging in the training and development of junior clerks and technicians.
- Performing CLIA waived screenings as permitted by law.
- Identifying and reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
- Upholding sanitation and safety standards in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum age of 18 years.
- The ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure as required.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following are desirable:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.
