The Boeing Defense Services (BDS) Operations team is looking for a Senior Fleet Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K). The selected individual will oversee executive transport modification initiatives, leading teams in structural, electrical, and interior upgrades. This role involves managing teams in a high-profile, fast-paced wide-body modification program, with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Work Environment: This position requires 100% onsite presence at designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee personnel engaged in various manufacturing disciplines.
  • Formulate and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures while developing organizational and technical approaches.
  • Secure resources, manage supplier relationships, and drive process enhancements.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and team members, providing guidance and approval on technical strategies, products, and processes.
  • Inspire, develop, and lead employees to achieve their best performance.

Security Clearance Requirements: This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is mandatory post-start.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.
  • At least 1 year of experience in leadership or management within FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience leading teams in a cross-functional setting.
  • Proven experience in managing and prioritizing multiple projects aligned with key milestones and aircraft delivery timelines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Possession of a valid FAA A&P Certificate or at least 18 months of hands-on maintenance experience qualifying for an FAA Repairman Certificate in the relevant maintenance type.
