The Boeing Defense Services (BDS) Operations team is on the lookout for an Executive Fleet First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K). The chosen candidates will oversee executive transport modification initiatives, leading teams in structural, electrical, and interior enhancements. This role involves guiding teams in a high-stakes, fast-paced wide-body modification program, with a focus on achieving Go 4Zero safety, FOD, quality, and compliance objectives.

Note: This position is expected to be 100% onsite, requiring the selected candidate to work at one of the designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage personnel engaged in various manufacturing disciplines.
  • Formulate and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures while developing organizational and technical approaches.
  • Secure resources, provide technical oversight of suppliers, and spearhead process enhancements.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Oversee and approve technical methodologies, products, and processes. Mentor and motivate team members.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which mandates U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing teams under FAA Part 145 Repair Station activities.
  • 1+ years of experience in leadership roles, formally or informally, within a cross-functional setting.
  • 1+ years of experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects aligned with key milestones and aircraft delivery timelines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Possession of a valid FAA A&P Certificate or a minimum of 18 months of hands-on maintenance experience qualifying for an FAA Repairman Certificate in the relevant maintenance type.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation assistance based on candidate eligibility.
