Parker Jewish Institute Comprehensive Community Hospice is in search of committed and empathetic Full-Time LPN-Hospice Nurses to provide exceptional end-of-life care. We value nurses who are naturally caring and focused on enhancing the quality of life for our patients.

Our Community and Inpatient Hospice program offers comfort and peace of mind to individuals facing advanced or life-limiting illnesses and their families. As a vital part of our unique not-for-profit program, you will deliver personalized care that prioritizes comfort, dignity, and quality of life for our patients. Your responsibilities will include providing direct care, managing symptoms, coordinating care, and offering family support.

Required Qualifications

  • Current New York State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in home care, hospice, or a similar setting
  • Previous experience in community hospice or home care is advantageous but not mandatory; training and mentorship are provided
  • Familiarity with care coordination is beneficial
  • Proficient in using technology and electronic medical records in the field
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to conduct home visits
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
