Position Overview: The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for Hospice is a full-time position that comes with comprehensive benefits, including:

Role Summary:
The first-shift Certified Nurse Aide works from our designated office and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role involves providing essential services to hospice patients, focusing on their personal needs and comfort. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, documenting care provided, and reporting observations.

Compensation: The hourly wage for the Certified Nurse Aide ranges from $16.00 to $23.00, with an incentive for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personal care services, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens;
- Ensuring patient safety and assisting with mobility and exercises;
- Providing assistance with feeding when necessary;
- Measuring and recording vital signs;
- Offering respite for caregivers on-site as needed;
- Supporting comfort through range of motion exercises and other simple procedures.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required;
- At least one year of experience in hospice, long-term care, or home care settings;
- Certification as a Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan is necessary. (Certification support is available.)
