Position Overview:
The Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) in our hospice division is a full-time role that operates Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekend on-call duties may be required, with hours varying based on patient needs.

Role Summary:
The first-shift Certified Nurse's Aide works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role is essential in delivering compassionate care to hospice patients, ensuring their comfort and meeting their personal needs. Responsibilities include observing patients, documenting care provided, and reporting any significant changes in their condition.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.00 to $23.00, accompanied by a sign-on bonus. We encourage individuals with relevant experience who may not yet hold certification to apply, as we offer financial support for certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personal care services, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens;
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort;
- Assisting with mobility and prescribed exercises;
- Providing assistance with feeding as necessary;
- Measuring and recording vital signs;
- Offering respite for caregivers when required;
- Supporting range of motion exercises and other basic procedures to enhance comfort.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospice, long-term care, or home health;
- Certification as a Nurse's Aide (CNA) in the State of Michigan is preferred. (Certification support is available.)
