Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

At Texas Western Hospitality Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn El Paso Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the training and supervision of Guest Services employees, providing coaching and counseling to support their career and personal development.
  • Motivate staff across all hotel departments to create a productive working environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Oversee and participate in guest registration, confirming cancellations and modifications as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling staff according to labor standards and forecasts occupancy, assigning daily work tasks and monitoring labor costs.
  • Ensure agents use effective walk-in sales strategies and resolve guest complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Enforce adherence to hotel accounting procedures, credit control, and emergency protocols.
  • Provide a professional image at all times, communicating company policies and procedures to subordinates.
  • Recruit and staff the department using company hiring standards, conducting training classes on safety, security, and service guidelines.
  • Maintain rewards recognition systems and fulfill Manager on Duty shifts.
  • Ensure hotel compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including EEOC and Wage-Hour regulations.
