About the Role

The Senior Business Development Professional for the North America Process Solutions Team is responsible for selling complex technical products and services to a diverse array of biotech, healthcare, and diagnostics organizations in a territory spanning MD, PA, and NJ. The position is remote, with an expectation of consistent travel within the assigned territory up to 50%, including occasional overnight stays to drive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and networking
  • Develop territory strategy and plan for execution
  • Organize product presentations and demonstrations and explain technical details to customers, in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with technology managers and other business partners to stay updated on product details
  • Enable technical support and solutions to clients during the sales process
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals, both internally and externally
  • Manage business opportunities, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and provide post-sale support as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in bioprocessing sciences, chemical or biochemical engineering, biology, chemistry, or similar discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in the Life Sciences industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with purification, filtration, single-use, separation sciences, and raw material technologies for biotech applications across upstream and downstream processing
  • Direct sales experience or direct interaction with suppliers/vendors
  • Self-motivated and assertive; takes initiative and works independently
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships; builds credibility and trust
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
