Job Title: Business Development Manager for Biotech Solutions

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our North America Process Solutions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling complex technical products and services to biotech, healthcare, and diagnostics organizations in the MD, PA, and NJ territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Develop a territory strategy and plan for execution
  • Organize product presentations and demonstrations, explaining technical details to customers in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with technology managers and other business partners to stay updated on product details
  • Enable technical support and solutions to clients during the sales process
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals, both internally and externally
  • Manage business opportunities, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and provide post-sale support as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in bioprocessing sciences, chemical or biochemical engineering, biology, chemistry, or a similar discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Familiarity with purification, filtration, single-use, separation sciences, and raw material technologies for biotech applications across upstream and downstream processing
  • Direct sales experience or direct interaction with suppliers/vendors
  • Self-motivated and assertive; takes initiative and works independently
