About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Leader to join our team at Desktop Metal as a Regional Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and exceeding quarterly sales targets for production metal additive printers in a specific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and initiate sales contacts with senior-level executives, responding to customer inquiries, and following up on new business development opportunities.
  • Drive sales campaigns leveraging a proven world-class sales process and collaborate with marketing on targeted lead generation.
  • Sell Desktop Metal products and services to new customers, negotiating pricing, delivery, and related matters to achieve optimal profitability for the company.
  • Create rolling 90-day forecasts and ensure accurate execution; take action to guarantee overall business objectives are met.
  • Pursue industry trade shows and exhibitions (additive manufacturing, MIM, oil & gas, defense, etc.) to build relationships and stay updated on market trends.
