Business Development Manager

At Electric Supply Center, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to drive new business throughout New England.
This role will be responsible for building the lead generation pipeline to support the sales teams, working directly with enterprise opportunities, and developing and generating new sales leads.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, with 1+ years of professional experience building business development functions in an electrical distribution environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Business Development Director to build the lead generation pipeline
- Partnering with Branch Managers, Outside Sales, and Marketing teams to create and maintain new and existing business relationships
- Sourcing and developing leads in the electric distribution market
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers
- Reporting competitive conditions and customer feedback to management
Key qualifications include:
- Knowledge of electrical distribution, product applications, and industry sales experience
- Track record of quota attainment and accountability for revenue achievement
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
