Talent Acquisition Director Job Description

This key role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of the Talent Acquisition function to achieve performance and hiring goals. The Talent Acquisition Director will partner with hiring managers to build a robust talent pipeline and contribute to organizational success by developing the overall talent acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, direct, and oversee corporate talent acquisition programs to deliver top-quality talent and meet hiring plans in a timely and consistent fashion.
  • Execute effective recruiting strategies to attract and engage top talent, leveraging various channels and techniques.
  • Collect, store, and track candidate and job-related data to monitor the hiring process and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing recruiting team, providing guidance and resources to ensure success.
  • Define, track, and analyze talent acquisition metrics to measure performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee and manage recruiting capital and operation budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Assist with executive searches and provide guidance on best practices for talent acquisition.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build a network of contacts and attract talent for future opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events to attract top talent and promote the organization's brand.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all recruiters to ensure productivity and achievement of hiring goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of human resources experience, with 5+ years in HR management.
  • Experience in staffing functions, creating and implementing process excellence.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media, and recruiting process workflows.
Skills:
  • Ability to develop creative solutions and drive effective organizational change.
  • Proven track record in sourcing passive talent and executive recruiting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong command of internet search tools and techniques.
  • Flexible and collaborative team player with the ability to adapt in all environments.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on business demands.
  • Detail and metric-driven to achieve established goals.
Certifications:
  • SPHR, PHR, or GPHR certification is preferred.
