A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR PROFESSIONAL

As a Senior Professional, you are vital to our operations. Your dedication ensures we meet our clients' needs.

Under the guidance of the Division Manager or Principal Professional, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing work plans, technical documents, and reports for regulatory agencies at federal, state, and local levels.

• Drafting and assessing proposals for new clients in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Developing project scopes for environmental assessments and remediation initiatives from our extensive portfolio, managing them within budget constraints.

• Conducting regular site visits to ensure project execution aligns with health and safety protocols.

• Reviewing and approving supplier proposals and invoices.

• Analyzing data and compiling detailed reports.

• Assisting in marketing and business development efforts.

• Mentoring junior staff to support their professional growth.

Your interpersonal skills are crucial as you frequently engage with local and national clients as well as regulatory bodies.

While you will spend considerable time on-site and interacting with stakeholders, you will also maintain your administrative duties.

Ensuring client satisfaction and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget provides a rewarding sense of achievement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.


• A minimum of seven years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental evaluations, contaminant investigations, remediation efforts, stormwater management, wastewater treatment, permitting, or compliance projects in both public and private sectors.

• Experience in consulting.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines.

• Professional registration or certification is advantageous or the ability to obtain it within two years of employment.

• Willingness to travel within the western United States.

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION


This full-time project management position typically operates Monday through Friday, involving office work and day-trip travel; occasional overnight work may be required for emergency response on a quarterly basis, along with some weekend work as needed.

Extended projects related to emergency response may also occur on a voluntary basis.
