Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to take on the role of Senior Environmental Project Manager within our esteemed consulting firm. This position involves leading a variety of environmental initiatives across the Pacific Northwest, utilizing your extensive knowledge to deliver innovative solutions that surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee a range of environmental projects, guiding them from inception to completion with professionalism and expertise.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients, building strong partnerships and serving as a trusted advisor on environmental matters.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Expertly navigate the intricate web of environmental laws in the Pacific Northwest, ensuring all projects adhere to legal standards.
  • Environmental Assessments: Lead teams in conducting comprehensive evaluations of environmental conditions, focusing on soil, groundwater, and remediation techniques.
  • Innovative Remediation Strategies: Design and execute cutting-edge remediation plans, employing the latest technologies to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Team Development: Mentor and inspire project teams, fostering an environment of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate in the creation of persuasive project proposals that highlight our firm's capabilities and attract new clients.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality in all project outputs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Safety Advocacy: Promote a culture of safety within project teams, ensuring the well-being of all personnel.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and strategies to enhance our presence in the environmental consulting sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology.
  • Active Licensed Geologist (L.G.) certification in Washington and Oregon, or a commitment to obtain licensure.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, particularly with projects in the Pacific Northwest.
  • In-depth understanding of environmental regulations in Washington and Oregon.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a passion for guiding and motivating project teams.
  • Proficient in project management software and familiar with Microsoft Office, Autodesk, and Adobe applications.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
