Position Summary: The Per Diem Float Patient Coordinator will operate across various offices. This role encompasses all front office responsibilities and provides essential support to patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. Previous experience in the healthcare sector is mandatory.
Work Schedule: Per Diem with flexible availability to assist in a collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage all incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and online inquiries, ensuring a positive experience for each caller.
- Foster a professional and inviting atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care provided to patients and their respective providers.
- Comprehend the flow between providers and patients, anticipating the next steps as best as possible.
- Handle inventory management and restocking of supplies and equipment as needed.
- Participate in all in-house training and ongoing educational opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare experience is essential.
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
- Exceptional patient relations and customer service abilities.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and dedication.
- Prior experience in a dermatology or medical setting is preferred.
- Availability to work during weekdays and weekends is necessary.
