Position Summary: We are seeking a Per Diem Float Patient Coordinator to assist in our various offices. The Patient Coordinator will manage all front office responsibilities and provide essential support to patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. Previous experience in the healthcare sector is a prerequisite.

Work Schedule: This is a Per Diem position requiring flexible availability to support a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and online inquiries, ensuring a positive experience for every caller.
  • Foster a professional and inviting atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care provided to patients and their respective providers.
  • Understand the workflow between providers and patients, anticipating the next steps to the best of your ability.
  • Oversee inventory management and restocking of supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in all in-house training and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare is mandatory.
  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Exceptional patient relations and customer service skills are required.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and dedication are key attributes.
  • Experience in a dermatology or medical setting is preferred.
  • Availability to work during weekdays and weekends is necessary.
