Position Summary: We are seeking a Per Diem Float Patient Coordinator to support our various offices. The Patient Coordinator will manage all front office responsibilities and assist patients, providers, and support staff. Previous experience in healthcare is essential.
Work Schedule: This is a Per Diem position requiring flexible availability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and online inquiries while ensuring a positive experience for each caller.
- Foster a professional and welcoming environment to enhance the quality of service provided to patients and their respective providers.
- Understand the flow of patient care and anticipate the needs of providers to facilitate optimal service delivery.
- Handle inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Participate in all in-house training and ongoing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in healthcare is required.
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent patient relations and customer service skills are required.
- Professionalism, reliability, and dedication are expected from all employees.
- Prior experience in a dermatology or medical setting is preferred.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends is essential.
