Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team at the Children's Hospital Of The King's Daughters. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our registration and scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Accurately collect and document patient information, perform registration processes, and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Account Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient account information, including co-payments, referrals, authorizations, and billing inquiries.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete medical records, filing systems, and account balances.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related work experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer data entry processes.
  • Certifications: None required.
Working Conditions

This is a normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and other environmental stressors.
