Position Details:
Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes rapport with clients, providing support, encouragement, and motivation to foster independence while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Collaborates as a team member to ensure optimal care for every client, including conducting rounds, monitoring facilities, facilitating drug and breathalyzer tests, distributing personal care items, and enforcing guidelines as necessary.
  • Documents and shares relevant client information while maintaining confidentiality and participating in meetings as required.
  • Upholds the company's Vision and Mission statements in all interactions, both internally and externally.
  • Adheres to all organizational policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Regular and predictable in-person attendance is essential for this role.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate's degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including the homeless, addicted, and mentally ill, is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and compassion for the homeless population.
  • Exhibits professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses interviewing and assessment skills with at-risk populations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Shows flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Effective crisis management abilities.
  • Maintains a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Focuses on client-centered and service-oriented perspectives.
  • Manages personal stress while engaging with complex personalities and needs.

Additional Requirements:
  • Valid NYS Driver License in compliance with company driving criteria is preferred.
  • Adherence to CDC guidelines, including wearing a mask while working, is required.
  • Full vaccination against Covid-19, including booster when eligible, is strongly encouraged.
