Job Overview
A boutique hotel in midtown Manhattan is seeking a reliable and highly motivated front desk agent to join its team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and security during the 4pm to 12am shift.

About the Role
This dynamic role involves working at the front desk, checking in guests, and providing information about hotel services. You will respond to guest concerns, field phone calls, and update reservation systems as needed. Additionally, you will track and respond to guest requests using our cloud-based internal system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cover the front desk at all times and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Check in guests accurately and provide them with relevant information about hotel services.
  • Respond to and log all guest concerns and requests.
  • Field outside phone calls and provide information about the hotel's current availability.
  • Post additional charges to guest folios and update the system for any cancellations or changes to reservations.
  • Accept walk-in guests and charge them appropriately for available rooms.
  • Verify guests have valid credit information on file before allowing check-in.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable learning and working with cloud-based hotel management software.
  • Experience in a hotel front desk position or comparable customer service role is a plus.
  • Fluency in a secondary language (Spanish, French, etc.) is a plus but not a requirement.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
