Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated Hotel Guest Service Representative to join our team at The Mark. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-level service, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. You will work closely with our Guest Relations Manager to provide support with guest relations duties, handle telephone inquiries, and complete room reservations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests via phone, email, and in-person
  • Complete room reservations, including types of accommodations, rates, and special services available
  • Process internal reservations, management reservations, and travel agent rates
  • Handle high volumes of phone calls and email correspondence
  • Ensure flawless guest service experiences
  • Respond to guest needs and anticipate their unstated ones
  • Actively listen and resolve guest complaints
  • Oversee and coordinate all arrivals
  • Provide wellness calls to in-house guests
  • Coordinate communication between guests and staff

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year prior experience in the guest service industry, preferably in a luxury property
  • Knowledge of computers and various programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Opera is preferred
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication skills
  • A creative problem solver
  • Passionate about guest service and satisfaction
  • Extremely organized and able to prioritize in a busy environment
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
