We are seeking a highly motivated Hotel Guest Service Representative to join our team at The Mark. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-level service, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. You will work closely with our Guest Relations Manager to provide support with guest relations duties, handle telephone inquiries, and complete room reservations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to guests via phone, email, and in-person
- Complete room reservations, including types of accommodations, rates, and special services available
- Process internal reservations, management reservations, and travel agent rates
- Handle high volumes of phone calls and email correspondence
- Ensure flawless guest service experiences
- Respond to guest needs and anticipate their unstated ones
- Actively listen and resolve guest complaints
- Oversee and coordinate all arrivals
- Provide wellness calls to in-house guests
- Coordinate communication between guests and staff
Requirements:
- At least 1 year prior experience in the guest service industry, preferably in a luxury property
- Knowledge of computers and various programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Opera is preferred
- Highly motivated with excellent communication skills
- A creative problem solver
- Passionate about guest service and satisfaction
- Extremely organized and able to prioritize in a busy environment
- Bachelors Degree preferred
Compensation:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
