Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Coordinator Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Coordinator Lead to join our team at the University of Washington. As a Clinical Laboratory Coordinator Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and assessing the daily tasks and workflows for Accessioning, as well as performing tasks related to internal case accessioning in the Pathology gross room and external case accessioning in the Pathology office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assess the daily tasks and workflows for Accessioning
  • Perform tasks related to internal case accessioning in the Pathology gross room and external case accessioning in the Pathology office
  • Facilitate the coordination of workflow, operational standards, and policies between Accessioning and other areas in the department
  • Maintain open and appropriate communication with direct supervisor and department leadership regarding staffing, workflows, and policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school graduation or equivalent and three years of clinical or public health laboratory experience
  • Equivalent education/experience
