Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Coordinator Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Coordinator Lead to join our team at the University of Washington. As a key member of our Laboratory Medicine and Pathology department, you will be responsible for overseeing and assessing the daily tasks and workflows for Accessioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and perform tasks related to internal case accessioning in the Pathology gross room and external case accessioning in the Pathology office.
  • Facilitate the coordination of workflow, operational standards, and policies between Accessioning and other areas in the department.
  • Maintain open and appropriate communication with direct supervisor and department leadership regarding staffing, workflows, and policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school graduation or equivalent and three years of clinical or public health laboratory experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Ability to work in other departmental locations to meet patient service requirements.
  • Ability to meet with all shifts on a regular basis.
