Teaching History at Camden Prep
As a History educator, you will join a collaborative team of educators dedicated to developing engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and analytical writing skills.
You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on your students' lives by empowering them to become informed global citizens.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will teach World, US History, American Government, and Economics courses to prepare students for Advanced Placement (AP) and collegiate level coursework.
- You will guide students in analyzing primary and secondary sources to develop their argumentation, corroboration, inquiry, and historiography skills.
- You will participate in weekly school-wide meetings to cultivate community, model core values, and encourage student achievement.
- You will partner with students' families to ensure access to resources that support their child's learning needs.
