Position Overview:
This role is essential for ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and managing EDI transactions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the processing of EDI 850 & 860 transactions with precision in our Exenta system.
- Manage non-EDI customer orders, ensuring accurate entry into our ERP system.
- Facilitate communication across departments, particularly with Sales Support and Distribution teams.
- Address allocation issues in collaboration with the sales support team.
- Monitor orders to guarantee timely shipments and prioritize warehouse tasks as necessary.
- Assist internal stakeholders with order modifications and EDI inquiries, resolving any errors that arise.
- Investigate and rectify order discrepancies, including vendor chargeback issues.
- Conduct daily assessments of reports detailing order challenges, focusing on aged orders.
- Provide support to various accounts regarding order status, cancellations, and modifications.
Additional Duties:
- Respond to requests from sales and distribution teams concerning pick tickets.
- Maintain and update Cross Reference databases.
- Generate Critical Item Reports to identify potential backorders.
- Review e-commerce orders from direct-to-consumer platforms.
- Ensure consistent communication with the sales team about discrepancies, order information, shortages, and restock dates.
- Update customer profiles, including shipping details and special instructions.
- Perform other related tasks as required to support company operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business, specifically in Order Management and EDI processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with skills in data management techniques such as sorting, V-lookups, and Pivot Tables.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, demonstrating keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and detail orientation.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating good work habits to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing complex information and assignments efficiently.
