We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who will play a vital role in patient interactions, addressing inquiries related to orthodontic procedures and associated costs.

The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator (OTC) will ensure that patients leave with a comprehensive understanding of their treatment options, insurance details, and payment plans, thereby fostering a positive patient experience.

Support our mission to deliver exceptional dental care and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our patients.


Key Responsibilities:

- Present orthodontic treatment plans and provide clear cost estimates.

- Educate patients on the orthodontist's treatment plan after it has been assessed by clinical staff.

- Monitor collections and follow up with patients as necessary.

- Explain and promote adherence to company payment policies and procedures.

- Achieve high treatment acceptance rates by effectively communicating treatment costs, insurance coverage, and financing options.

- Solicit referrals from patients post-treatment while tracking satisfaction levels.

- Contact patients or guarantors prior to appointments to confirm attendance and discuss fees.

- Uphold the highest standards of integrity by complying with all regulations and company policies.

- Perform additional duties as needed to support the orthodontist.


Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.

- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in a dental practice is required.

- Preferred: 3+ years of customer service experience.

- Strong knowledge of orthodontics and treatment planning is advantageous.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Ability to clearly articulate orthodontic techniques, treatment plans, and relevant codes is preferred.

- Familiarity with dental insurance, service limits, and financing options is beneficial.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is strongly preferred.

- Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

- Additional certifications may be required based on location.
