Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and complete the RAI/MDS process in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Coordinate physician visits and complete follow-up tasks.
  • Ensure psychotropic medication informed consents are documented in the health record.
  • Coordinate psychotropic drug reviews at regular intervals.
  • Coordinate the weight management process.
  • Coordinate the nursing components of the admission and discharge processes.
  • Share responsibility for after-hours phone calls with the Director of Nursing and Director of Staff Development.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and facility leadership meetings.
Requirements:
  • RN with current licensure to practice in the state.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable nursing principles and practices to ensure the quality of care standards for residents.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
