Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team. As the Registered Nurse - MDS Responsibility, you will be responsible for coordinating the RAI/MDS process, ensuring psychotropic medication informed consents are documented, and participating in interdisciplinary care conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and complete the RAI/MDS process in compliance with federal regulations
  • Coordinate physician visits and complete follow-up tasks
  • Ensure psychotropic medication informed consents are documented in the health record
  • Coordinate psychotropic drug reviews at regular intervals
  • Coordinate the weight management process
  • Coordinate the nursing components of the admission and discharge processes
  • Share responsibility for after-hours phone calls with the Director of Nursing and Director of Staff Development
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and facility leadership meetings
Requirements:
  • RN with current licensure to practice in the state
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable nursing principles and practices to ensure the quality of care standards for residents
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
