Community Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Resident Support Aide to join our team at Presbyterian Residential Community (PRC). As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support services to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Community Engagement: Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, fostering a sense of community and promoting a safe and respectful living environment.
- Support Services: Provide assistance with daily tasks, such as grocery and mail deliveries, and perform after-hours lockouts as needed.
- Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report incidents to the on-call Property Manager, ensuring prompt attention to any issues that may arise.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and resolve conflicts in a safe and respectful manner.
- Program Compliance: Ensure adherence to ESSHI program directives and obligations, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.
- Education: Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Experience: Preferred experience working with aging populations and a strong understanding of community engagement principles.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs and remain on feet for extended periods, with good physical health and mobility.
- Qualifications: Ability to make independent decisions, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
This role involves regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with individuals receiving services, and requires a background check and fingerprinting for a criminal history record check.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position requires standing, bending, and walking for most of the day, with occasional lifting and carrying of objects.
